chef-server-webui software package provides Chef configuration management system - Web UI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install chef-server-webui
chef-server-webui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the chef-server-webui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chef-server-webui *
You will get with chef-server-webui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
